Kaley Bender was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She is a New York City based performer and earned her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre at Point Park University.​

Some of her recent regional credits include Karen Smith in Mean Girls (Pittsburgh CLO), Ensemble in A Christmas Carol (The Lexington Theatre Company), Ensemble in Dear Evan Hansen (The Muny), Ensemble in Frozen (The Muny), and Swing in Jersey Boys (The Muny). Her Point Park credits include Margot in Legally Blonde, Ensemble/Dance Captain in Steel Pier, Flo/Dance Captain in The Mystery of Edwin Drood , Mrs. Van Buren in Intimate Apparel , and E8 u/s P8 in Sondheim on Sondheim.
